Ive got a corsa b 1.2 16v which will soon have an astra sport 1.8 16v engine in which is 125bhp, would i be able to fit a 6 speed gearbox in this? or is it just stupid idea?

Don't bother, ratios will be poor for the engine. Stick to 5 speed.

whats the best engine for a 6 speed then? fout it was bit of a bad idea thats why i asked

most people don't go for a six speed unless they have a C20LET in the car, and even then they are awkward to fit as they were originally designed for a 4x4 chassis
