yeah 1500 seems reasonable esp for a DTM, get the tranny box done and some chips and see a good 250bhp for every day driving

does the dtm have any performance upgrades over the standard turbo or is it just cosmetic?

so the 208bhp engine is the same is seams to think his is around 280bhp lol not sure what has been dont but there u go lol

TX boxes are cheap as to buy... Bit of an arse to fit though. Would recomend 4 new tyres aswell if they are un-evenly worn to stop you breaking the new one.

Standard Tx boxes are switchable on and off by remnoving fuse 14 (I think) from the fuse box. You can switch the wire as well to make it a bit more profesional looking.

Matt has that Cavalier that he's breaking so you could get a few bits of of him I guess

so in theory i could buy the motor for 1500 get the tx box the sunroof cable and the bonnet release cable oh and get a 2nd hand trip computer for another 500 which means i could have a 72k cally t dtm edition on a n plate for 2k lol
just need to find someone to fit the bits now lol

i have pm'd matt b already lol

mm thinking about it lol i bet its just the fuse that has gone for the transfer box lol that would be anothe bonus lol

Fuse 19 isnt it??

Recon locked transfer box from vauxhall transmission services is £1000 iirc.

A friend had a faulty TXB and his was fixed with an £8 off the shelf part from vauxhall.

Theres probably a buying guide over on the CTOR www.ctor.co.uk (cav turbo owners register) essentially all the checks replicate that on the Calibre.

Theres more to these cars than people think, although cared for cars and transfer boxes will last.
