i got 3 points and £60 for a 50 in a 30
was a clear road but i was over the limit end of anyway im very careful now as i cant get more then 6 points as im a newbe
What did amuse me though is the yellow ticket i got stated it was a purple nova when i drive a blue corsa didnt argue though as i felt lucky it was 3 points . in theory though could i have argued this?
Anyway good luck and play it safe in the future

i got done 3 days ago doing 53 in a 30 mph zone at half midnight by a hiding copper didnt see him till last min lights on stopped me £60 and 3 points matter over, had to ring thames valley thought following morning who i am joining myself in 8 weeks to explain, so annoyed at myself had a clean license also learned my lesson did the stupid thing of thinking ah its late at night put my foot down a little

No, I was implying that in powerfull car, it is possible to triple most speed limits in the dead of night.
So, on a fast stretch of road with a low speed restriction in force, and travelling in a quiet car, particularly if you are distracted from monitoring your speed, you could probably quite easily do 40 - 50 mph without any mallice of forethought.
