right i had electric windows fitted a while ago and i recently got the multi switch unit for the drivers door but it will not open / close the passanger door window and i just got electric mirrors and the drivers side one moves but the passanger one won't i have checked both doors behind the door cards and all wires are connected. i was woundering if anyone knows if there is a plug of some sort behind the dash that lets me open/close the passangers electric window from the drivers side and same with the mirror.

I have also fitted electric windows and mirrors mate, There is no bit in the middle as far as im aware.
But saying that i only had the door looms so i made my own loom inside the car

so what do you think is wrong
can someone explain the loom to me.
heres my problem with a better description.
Drivers Side Switch: Works Fine.
Passanger Side Switch: Works Fine.
both them switches open and close the windows on there sides.
Drivers Side Passanger Switch: Lights up but does nothing at all when pressed either way up or down.
Drivers Side Mirror Switch: Moves Drivers Side Mirror.
Drivers Side Mirror Switch Switched To Passanger Mirror: Does nothing at all.
anyone know what i could look for because all plugs are connected. on both doors and the fuse is working.
i mean the drivers side passanger switch is getting power but its doing nothing and i knwo its not the switch thats faulty.

well from what you have said,
All drivers stuff works.
Passenger on the other hand doesnt work on the drivers side.
Power is obvisouly getting to both sides, so i would say there is a problem with the signal cables from the drivers side to the passenger side loom.
If im not mistaken i beleive there to be around 2 wires for the windows and i think also two for the mirrors. - Been awhile since i did mine.
i think the mirror signal cables are black and white. I think the windows were grey and blue. ( i think) get the haynes manual out. It says iit there

why dont you just buy the haynes manual. Its definately worth the £15

m8 i purchased a haynes manual but its saying something about a relay for the mirrors but i dont think i have one. also does anyone have the loom that connects the drivers side switchs to the passenger side ? thx in advance
