Which air filter is the better out of the two? And why?

I guess that because piperX is dearer its better, but not to sure. Its for a 1.2 8v corsa.

Yeah I know but just the only conclusion I can come to as i have never experienced a car with both.

Piper X are louder than K&N, not sure what performes better though.

wouldnt bother on a 1.2 8v just drill your airbox

pipercross don't clog up as quick and flow more air when dirty compared to cotton

bollocks, i had both a piperX, BFO and a K&N on my 1.4 and 1.6 corsa. The the piperX was shite, sounded crap and seemed to give flat spots, BFO sounded very hollow, so swapped to K&N and it was excellent, sounds deep when you boot it, plus it didnt clog any quicker than my foam filters.

i'd go for K&N mate, treating my GTi-6 to one at end of month
