thanks, i have changed the inmjectors and have secured one of the erthing points that was loose ( i'm a knob ) so hoping it is all singing and dancing at 5 when i test it.
just have to secure the fuel rail as it poppped off yesterday

dickhead - meaning me didn't secure the rail, thinking it would be ok just to see if it run.
no one told me them injectors operate at 70 odd PSI

nope the ICV has now decided to play up and the battery has run flat.

torque steer, 2nd gear ^K RPM oh yes, she's alive 
thanks to every one that has helped, she bums out at 6500 tho but maybe just a little tinkering will sort that, maybe a little vacum leak or something.

Reminds me of the time MattB told me which way round to atatch the fuel lines onto my 2.0... Er, he got it wrong. Petrol sprayed out everywhere when I took the lines off as I couldn't de-pressureise them because of the one way valve in the regulator....

dude check the big blue plug! so many errors and all of them go thru the blue plug in your loom!
and make sure u didn't switch any connectors (air mass and ICV are quit the same as i can recall)

thanks schapp, sorted it now.
i dont have the big blue plug as it's a C16 XE and has an airfolw meter instead of a map sensor.
it's ok now, just bums out at like 6.5 6.75 which hopefully be sorted out with a remap.
