ok so when it was icey i decided to let my girlfriend have a go at hand brake turning in my car (i have no idea why but it seemed a good idea at the time )
and yes she hit a curb side ways on with the rear wheel, the wheel did go onto the curb because it wasnt that big.
the car seemed fine at the time and i drove home thinking everything was ok
but the next day i found that the steering wheel would begin to shake at 50mph and verybadly at 70mph
so i had a closer look to find that middle of the steel rim was bent inwards so i replaced that but the problem is persisting but itsnot as bad.
i have looked at the axle and everything looks straight and no other parts appear to be bent or crumpled.
does anyone have any idea what could cause the steering wheel to shake?
is there anything in particular i should look for?
thanks any help is much appreciated
