I think boost is pretty important.

Dont know about LET's but with the Subaru engines any excessive boost leads to det pretty quickly - Big end failure or piston meltdown. It isnt uncommon either as its run of the mill for the boost solenoid to fill with crap and jam.

i have picturs at TRAX last year, this is in its XE days before quite a few mods? now have LET (Obvously) Wilwood Fronts, and rear disk conversion

I'm at Cov uni, so am usually down near The Oak pub, that sort of area.

Can't say I've seen your car though. Live out near Bedworth so not actually in Coventry much.

Yes i am the other side of town mate, but i am over bedworth a bit as the lad doing my conversion works at martin rumble vauxhall. you may have seen his car, its a black astra Mk2 turbo, has 18" chromes and bodykit etc?

Never asked him tbh, but its a Few years i think? he moved from a different vauxhall branch in coventry? he is pretty well known for engine conversions and stuff as he has dpne quite a few of the ones in coventry, he is also building a 4x4 astra mk3 well its not far off finished!

anyway post a pic of your car, see if i have seen you about?
