My phone says "No Access" where the operator logo should be, what does this mean?

By the way, it's a Sony Ericsson s700i, on o2.

Erm maybe it can't access the network. Try turning it off for a few mins and remove the battery, check sim is seated etc... then switch back on.

Never seen that before it usually switches to searching or operator logo dissapears when there is no coverage
