was bored last night so sent a email asking about there corsa, you all know the one (20's was in primer at Max etc etc)
here the reply :-

Dear Mr Beard

We never like to reveal inside information, but this project is still ongoing! As we are very busy finding time to do demo cars is very tough, but yes the car did run on 22’s, and we did have a 4.0 Jaguar engine in, but steering became a problem as the engine sat right back into the car and was a lot bigger than the 2.0l turbo lump that was in it before. The car was converted to RWD and a centre seat was implemented like the Mclaren F1. But this was a few years back and progress has grinded to a halt, so the finished project maybe a while coming, but watch this space…..

Regards

Team UV

Beardy will see what happens this year then, see you can do it yourself rather than making me ring them to ask them

Its ultimate velocity so whatever is done it will be bodged togethor with fibreglass and a boeing 747 rear wing

Plus imagine driving the car on 22s with a heavy old v8 in the front

WHY ??

to be fair though, i could bolt a v8 into my car, stick some 22's on it and it would probably look better than their effort (IMO)

tbh show cars are just turning into a medley of amazing parts, all welded together and covered in fibreglass.

maybe people should just fill a wheelbarrow with bits and not bother fixing em all together

a car isnt a car unless you can drive it

things like the UV car are just pointless abstracts of modern art

i think its pointless putting engines in purely show cars, whats the point, they get trailored everywhere anyway, why not just make an install under the bonnet (like the rustlers 306)

because it shows that the company can bolt all manner of things into a car but not have the skills to engineer a working and driveable car.

a showcase if you like of their stupid ideas, shows customers that they are capable of carrying out their own silly ideas
