I have a T reg Corsa B model. I have removed my original standard corsa stereo (CDR500). Without realising that I didnt take the code off the radio so the thing is useless. Not 2 worry because I have a new head unit to put in, which has yet to be put in. But what I need help for is the digital display above the dash (which shows time, date and temperature) also has blacked out, and I was wondering if I can somehow get it back working once I have installed my new head unit. Can n e 1 help?

Unless you fiddle with the wiring so it shows date etc all the time, it'll just go blank when you switch your HU on as this was where the standard one displayed radio station etc.

Cover the remote out with a bit of tape.

Or cover the remote out with a bit of tape.
Then nothing needs cut.
