For those at you who are making assumptions without even driving one go and book a test drive.
I'd just like to add that I dont drive a nedded up corsa and that i've never said that they were crap also I have never been in one but seeing as my corsa is just as quick if not quicker then I feel I can judge them
My car's quicker than yours

I have never seen a CTR do a quarter mile in less than 16 seconds.
I will see if I am proved wrong on Sunday when I attend Redline Rumble at the pod, I'm sure there will be a number of CTR's present.

my ex did a 15.722 with shitty weather up there on a standard CTR, and she's a girl! with lots of wheelspin!! was like her 2nd time up there.
u must be watching VERY VERY crap driver's.

Driving one or being a passenger in one wouldn't change it's appearance. Once a breadvan, always a breadvan.
Thats what I thought.

On Rachels first ever run up Santa Pod she done a 15.8 in her GSi
I have revived this thread because this forum is very quiet and boring at the moment.

depends on what you mean by better?
on track I would pick the CTR every time... without fail!
they are a weapon when driven properly!
on the motorways / dual carriageways etc. I would prefer the effortless drive of the Leon....
and lets be honest here how many of us buy cars purely for track use??
(AK need not reply to that last question!!)

his leon has a harsh ride which i was surprised about.
the interior is so drab and dreary it woudl depress me. and feels alot more cramped.
civic offers more feedback when driving imo and i prefer it, just my opinion tho as im sure steve loves his leon as does my mate.

2 years old....
Lets not let this degrade into the usual CTR arguments..
I like them to be honest, mate got one, nice interior, nice and fast....
Going to have a race with the CTR and my T4 when we get the chance, should be close, my 0-60 is 6.7 secs....Don't know my 0-100 or that though...

steering is wooly, ride is harsh, and engine isn't as keen to play as my little reno!!
