My rims are re-furbished and now just require painting. The cars white so what colour should i do the wheels, i was gonna do them white but have decided against that (they were white originally) i want to do them silver but what silver i want the brightest silver i can get but there are so many without powder coating. Hi power silver powder coating i got quoted £350 so its gotta be paint, Help me out guys im buying the paint saturday
Oh do i need an activator? or is it ok to just start sprayin on normal primer cos i see wheel repair kits come with an activator?

I knew you would say that, can you get an anthracite paint, i dont wanna go black. SO what silver is best guys

Come on guys i want BRIGHT not light lol and NO to black the cars gettin colour coded soon so all the black trim will be going so black wheels might look pish

best silver to use is BMW Titan Silver,
gives a very spangly mettalic affect to the wheels!

but still go with black wheels!

Just use a lighter coloured wheel paint, or have it custom mixed. Don't use a car colour because it will look too flat. You will notice that wheel paint is highly pearlescent between almost black and bright silver...

Yepp, they are the same sort of thing as you get on most alloys. Not sure what the range of colour is. It would be cheaper to go to a paint shop and get them to mix something for you. They can do it in aerosoles too if you need.

Yepp, so long as you get the right one.. Wheel paint is a lot more pearly than car paint.
