I had the wee bucket of shit on at knockhill last night.... taking it quite easy till the last 3 or 4 laps when it started to dry up..... still managed to loose the arse at about 80 at the end of the straight though DOH

Highlighted some issues with the map.... that big dip in the torque is very noticable and is a right roger ronsen on most corners!!! Hits you right at 3k rpm

Brake bias wasnt too bad.... spongy brake pedal with new pads was ok.... brakes were great

Tyres were also not too bad in the wet.... and once it started to dry up at the end the were really sticky

Kano..... My corsa just doesnt seem to like the corner..... if i try to take it at any pace the arse steps out
Remap on monday so hey ho...

oh..... also did another last minute bodg in a corpark....

i snapped two wires in the loom (wrapped ropund steering wheel :lol

so i had to get my rev counter working and the water temp gauge

BIG SPIN at the end of straight!! Good Fun!! really enjoyed taking it round the track too as you say dip in power is so noticable on particular corners

AK I was running nankangs last night.. GRip was immense! lol not... Got a few well sideways moments on vid, just keep the foot dwn and hope for the best stuff!..

Wasnt to chuffed that mine was the only real ROAD car on just about, mostly track 205's etc. Had a really good night though..

yeah.... i asked before hand what it was going to be like.... road legal or bangers etc..... I wasnt told it was a 'road legal track night;

Aye there wasnt really anybody getting too close. I had a great few laps with a turbod 205 and valver corsa. Was well impressed with the GTi, was able to keep with them quite easily.. Was hoping for a dry night but at least it saved me wrecking a set of tyres.. Brakes took a hammering though.

Ave got me keeping with that mini all the way round on vid.. The guy really didnt know the best lines round the back and it wasnt all that impressive in a straight line..
