No, its something to do with the ratios of the gearbox, I think the 1.8 16v is set up better ratio wise than the 2.2 16v.

Alternatively, as I did, buy the turbo in the first place and keep it for years and years

If you're buying both cars from a dealer and part-ex'ing the 1.8, you'll lose enough to make it the same price. Plus if you buy the turbo first, you own a turbo

Wasn't planning on buying from a dealer tbh

Insurance is the deciding factor in all this really, for 6-7K I could get either a coupe or vert in a range of engine sizes. The quote for the 1.8 vert is a lot differant to that of the turbo! On a yearly basis its a lot more money!

10 ish, its in the trader.

I'm not normally a fan of red either but those wheels, the daft interior and chromes. Comes together nicely.

If Flux are the cheapest I go with them. Simple as.

But they still suck big time when it comes to customer service & common sense

if buying a coupe or convertible the one models to get are the Se1/se2 or the Edition 100.

these are the best looking and equiped models.

if i hadnt spotted my se2 when i did, i wud have bought a edtion 100 as i love the colour.
