Am still after a corsa, but i have come down to the choice of 2..
AutoTrader - Corsa 1.2 16v SXi - 02 reg - Silver - 29k Miles - £3900
OR
Reg Vardy - Corsa 1.2 16v SXi - 03 reg - Black - 27k Miles - £5500
Is there much difference between and 02 and a 03 engine wise?

cant afford a newer car, looked at that option. i can spend about 6k max and that chopping off a bollock. I dont think il get anything for my current car its f00ked. I was under the impression that the SXi models came with lowered suspension anyhow.

the SXI was 10mm lower, makes no idfference whatsoever, you wouldnt be able to tell
02 and 03 engines are the same, i think spec is the same too, only 53 plate on had better bits
go for the earlier on and save some money

They sit slightly lower than a standard 'C' yes - like a GSi did on the 'B' really tbh - As far as Im aware the 02/03 engine thing would be identical engines. Id look around and see if you can get a 2004 (facelift model) for that price though. Mine was £7k, 6 months old, 1500 miles on clock with A/C from a main dealer - so those sound a bit overpriced tbh
The SXi's are bloody nice cars though, and I doubt you;d be dissapointed with either. If you stick to a Pre Facelift model, get the silver one - looks class - Silver imo looks wank on the Post Facelift though!

Ebay or Local Paper - Main Dealer offered me £150 for my 'B' Told them where to go with that and sold it for just over £500 using a local paper!
