and asked for the rear mud guards for a corsa B, 1999.
first guy said ok yes whe have them in stock, 17 quid.
nipped to sainsburys to check balance and then decided to go back to vaux and get them. went back in and asked for the same as before, to only be told this time round that they could not get them for a corsa B 1999 because the body shape is different to the gsi ones they keep in stock 
does anyone know of the part number for the rear mud guards for a corsa b 1999?

i was told 17 for front and 17 for rear inc VAT
i dont havea credit card, and im not quite rich so do have to check my money
does anyone know a part number?

They are right, the GSi mudflaps are the ones I have. I had post 97 ones before these and they are moulded to fit the bumper and arches whereas the GSi ones are universal fitment for Corsas, Astras and possibly Vectras.
I dont know the part numbers though

Universal ones for GSi ^^^^ have silver badge instead of white and are quite a bit larger

They obviously don't work very well tho  
Joking aside tho, just order a set of moulded ones and wait a few days. I can't see them having trouble getting a set in, and in the end it'll be worth getting the right thing to fit your car.
