ok went for a spin in my car corsa 1,6 sport i let it warm up naturaly
no hard driving then after a good 30 mins i give it a bit of power but it seemed not to shift like it normaly does and did not sound like its usual growl it sounded empty and like a issing noise normaly sounds rich?

so i check water and open tank with engine off and water bubbles out and i mean a lot,

also the temprature gauge was a bit low it normaly sits at 90 but was very

low!

also engine stinks mettally?

hard to explain but theres some thing wrong?

speed wise its like a chipped 1,2!

When you say the water bubbled out do you mean like it had boiled or was it more like when a bottle of pop fizzes up?

i had pproblems wih water fizzing like pop it turned out that fan was not kicking in and the fan switch was to blame temp gauge was working fine tho an sed 100 c pressure got really hight tho

until you get it sorted leave cap on filler bottle really loose so there is minimum pressure so no pipes split or nothing blows

first step is to drain all the coolant.

make sure there are no split pipes etc... then re-fill it. run the car up to temp and remove the coolant tank cap, put the heaters on hot and fan setting 2 in the car (this allows the water to pass through the heater matrix to remove air-locks) . let the car run until it bubbles over, leave it bubble for around 20 secs (this gets all the air out of the system) leave for 2 mins then top it up with water.

dont worry if the fan cuts in (should do this at aboutt 98 degrees) then let the car cool down for at least 3 hours. top up the tank with water to the correct level.

take it for a drive, should be up to 90 degrees within 10 mins. see how it goes then post up with the results
