hia,
F20 gearbox making loveeee to my 20xe, seems to be leaking oil from somewhere but not very clear where.
It would seem that the sump on the gbox is just leaking oil, is this common? easy to fix? share your stories of interest.
Started to make the dreaded whinnneeee last night so filled it with oil with the sump plug thing out until it started pissing out, seems to have fixed the issue but its obviously still letting out a little bit of oil... anyone got a easier way to fill the box with oil? I'm using a very slow method at the moment which I shall not share

pics would explain it a but better.
But basiclly clean the box, go for spin, track leak back to highest point, and presto you've found the source.

its common for any vaux engine to leak
and gearbox
if its vaux itll leak

just trying to be abit specific here... so far I think I've got:
rocker cover leak (minor)
Dizzy leak (minor but i sealed it the other day)
Gbox sump

The dizzy o ring is about 50p and a rocker gasket about 8 quid.

there was a thread on mig about it
nearly every 2.0 leaks. and they had a diff thread about all wiered and wonderful ways of fixing it using ecotec engine gaskets and sumps and various plates and sealents
i still think it hasnt bee cured

I wasnt saying it wasnt true btw, quite aware that its bloody common for them to leak!

take it off, strip it down, and put it back together using loctite gasket sealant
