hydrocarbons is fuel related.
With those lambda readings id be thinking lambda possibly cat.
It didnt need any welding then!

nope, its been welded before, on the nearside
cat needs replacing, but i dont wanna put a cat on it and be no nearer to fixing it
its deffo burning oil, so something must be wrong somewhere

its been welded offside in the wheel arch.
cat and lambda i think will cure emissions!

Just do a cmpresion test first, mine failed on HC and it was because the mixture on the AFM was to Lean (CO was very low) so it was overfueling to compensate, so as said above possibly new lambda and cat should sort that, I have an old 1.4 16v CAT you could have although im not sure what condition it is in as its not been used in 3 years!!
