Just took the corsa out for a run with my mate is his punto GT, coming out of a tight roundabout (doing a 180 turn) went in and out of the roundabout quite quick, and on the way out BIG BIG cloud of smoke . Was giving it a bit of stick but not thrashing it. Now i'm really worried . Anybody got any idea why it has done it ??
Cheers Chris

Ahh Chris, dont worry too much about it. As the others said its an oil surge. I used to get it when REALLY booting it around corners (especially tight right-handers). Due to G-Force oil sloshes about in the sump and gets pulled upto the head & burnt.

I've posted before about it on here (have a look) as I was really worried when it happend to me. Options are weld baffles into the sump, breather mod or fit a catch tank. TBH I used to live with it and not treat the roads too much like a track LOL.
