thats pretty much the same speed i get. it tops out at about 350kbs from a good site

We are with BT at the moment, on our 13th month here with them, but if they upgrade us to 6Mb (fastest speed on our line) they will make us enter another 12 month contract...

I upgrade to 8mb MAXasdl but very few people achieve anything near this speed. I'm running at about 4mb. Whcih is still better than my half meg

on a 2MB connection, you can't get over 256kkbps...sometimes when a download starts, the bytes being download will show higher values but that doesnt mean you are actually getting that...i think

yeah, but did it steady at 500 oir did it frop down? and that 500kbps, did it really take 1s or 2s? 
on a 2MB, you cant get it...guess they might have upgraded your speed
