Coscast heads are made by cosworth, engineered better to give tougher stronger more durable material. In leamans terms - heads dont take up water and so hardly ever go porous. Other than that no a lot different, certainly no power gains. Think you can tell the difference between GM and coscast heads by a little circle near/underneath dizzy.

Little circle you mentioned is called a Core plug.

The Coscast has it where as non Coscast doesnt
