Decent IMO, in good form, playing well and well deserving of his place in the team! That said, I wouldn't start him now due to necessary 4-5-1 formation

I think thats how it will go to be honest. I don't know if Crouch will be good enough in the later stages.

I do not think he is good enough to play international football.
The good attrtibutes he has are basic attributes every forward has, hold up play, coming deep and spraying it around, it's all too normal for any striker, I wouldnt even say he is strong or good in the air, he's just tall, the fact is he's put on the world's stage to score and he will only score you goals against mediocre opposition, in the premiership he's fine because he'll play against a back four with maybe 1 or 2 internationals in it, but against 4 class defenders he will struggle.
You can shout 6 goals in 9 games all you like, but Uruguay (friendly) Jamaica? Hungary? etc...
Let's see him against Brazil, Argentina, Holland, Spain please, and if he performs, I'll piss on what I wrote above.

I think he'll struggle too in the later stages. Hes too clumsy and not graceful enough to match Brazil, Holland etc.

I've nothing against the bloke, from all the off pitch footage I've seen of him, he seems a really fab bloke, and genuinely polite, but I just say what I see, maybe I'm too precise in what I look for in a player, but I was coached that way as a kid.

Exactly my thoughts! As seen in the thread, "Crouch is wank" which has disappeared. If he could actually head a ball it wouldn't be such a loss.
