played majority of the game with 10 men and still outclassed the aussie's

sorry what game were you watching aussies had 60% possession for the entire game, 2nd half was more like 65%. same number of shots on target, we attacked deeper, and in greater numbers but italy held their defence very well. it was very even IMO, but the roos worked harder for it, and deserved a place in the 1/4's

Italy played classic counter attacking football


Australia had that possesion because Italy LET them have it


the Italians were in control the whole game and imo were never in danger of going out
