replaced my k&n cone today for de-restricted and drilled airbox with a k&n panel filter now the revs are everywhere. eg when i dip the clutch it either holds the revs or revs higher and even in neutral when stopped can sometimes keep revving at about 2k
sorts it self out if i rev it to 6k or turn the car off
any idea

Might be wrong but I heard you can reset the ecu to correct this kind of problem...

I had the very same (same same same ) problem when I de-restricte and drilled.
After 2-3 days, seems to go away by itself. Since then, no problemo...still asking why it has been doing it owned?

doubt it will do much but:
disconnect battery for 1 hour. reconnect and then start the engine without touching the throttle and leave running for 30 secs without touching anything. job done.
