Well as some of you may know me and greg are taking our cars to santa pod on the 16th July to a rwyb. Who do you think will set the quicker time.

Both cars were converted to c20xe's the week before PVS with the finishing touchs on each car being completed on the saturday.
Since then I have covered about 400 miles in mine Greg has done a lot more around 1000 i would guess. So he should know his engine better but i'm used to driving lots of different cars so hopefully there should be no advantage there.

The Cars
My car is a '96 1.4 sport with a more or less standard body as far as the pod goes
Gregs started as a '00 ( i think) 1.0 and has since had the rear (seats, door cards spare wheel) stripped out.

The Engines
Mine is a late dispac out of a 130k mile calibra std with a scorpion exhaust and straight through cat pipe. (I may have a set of mild cams by then)
Gregs is an earlier distributor engine that has supposedly been rebuilt with a .5 rebore (making it a 2048?!) and runs a custom cat less exhaust

The transmission
Mine has a f20cr with equal length driveshafts and 5 stud big block hubs.
Gregs im not sure but runs single piece driveshafts and 4 stud big block hubs.

Wheels
I'm running 16's compared to gregs 15's

Suspension
Im lowered on avo adjustables fully poly bushed at the front with a std anti roll bar.
Gregs is lowered on FK coilovers, front upper strut brace no anti roll bars.

Brakes (for what it matters on the strip)
Mine is v6 front with std drums
Gres 2.0 spec front std drums
both running std vaux stuff!

So who do you think?
