....that Materazzi insulted (pronounced very tough words) his mother and sister..he tried not listening to him but the italian kept repeating the insults and he rather preferred Materazzi punch him in the face.

There was nothing between them before that incident

He does not regret for what he did but does apologise to all the children who watched the match on Sunday, for his violent conduct.........

I'm in no doubt they were harsh comments, Materazzi cannot admit fully what he said as he's scared of the reprecussions, to see a man of his sporting stature (Zizou) do something as controversial as that proves itself Materazzi is no angel, and to think he's telling the truth is naive.
However, everyone calls Zidane a thug, yet John Terry has been caught headbutting a taxi driver in the past, why is there no outcry over that?

Doesn't matter where it is, it's a violent act towards another person, the crime is the same, the place is different, being somewhere different doesn't get you off.

Any Inter fan or Italy fan or Italian football fan in general will have already known this before the tournament, and consequently doubted his selection in the sqaud, but his football speaks for its self, he's a world champion

Yes Gian I notice things in general, English fans in general seem to be in denial.

Materazzi is an excellent centre back, sometimes looks a bit clumbsy but he does the job.

Why is it only Lee Bowyer that has ever been arrested for anything like this?
