he kept moaning it was fine apart from know and again when he was going round roundabouts and slowing and stopping at junctions the engine was cutting out
i said your just stalling it so drove it round the car park and it did it on me 
what you think it could be...had new plugs and new oil 4k ago. oil filter may need replacing soon but dont think it is that
HT leads?
changed his airfilter back to standard just incase it was a mater of airflow but its not any ideas?

idle control valve.
my bro's 2.0 cally ecotec was doing it so i whipped it off, cleaned out with white spirits and i don't think it has done it since?

any other problems? any electrical? a certain fuse has been known to cause this

sounds just like the icv to me, so problems related to that.
try letting the car idle when moving (ie. rolling idle should be 1krpm) if it does it then, or when pulling up to a junction with clutch down (ie. letting it idle itself) then it will be icv or icv related

no more problems i think but ill tell him to check his fuses

Same problem as mine and im going to clean the icv and hopefully corrects the problem!!!

my EGR valve when and it was doing wot youve just said. put up at junctions and oit all cuts out
