Just got a set of these today. but when the fronts are fitted there is about 2mm space between the spring and wheel will it catch? Or should i get some spacers if so how thick?

think the guide says 5mm spacers if it is to close.
it should specify it in the handbook

the guide says there should be a minimum of 5mm clearance so as to avoid the tyres catching

can of worms i found out


i sold mine in the end. But if you have clearance with no spacers sticking on a small one shouldnt do any harm. As its best to play it safe.
I assumed from the look of your car that you already had coilovers though

I've got 10mm spacers with my Spax Coilovers still rubbing!

Pishing me off now 5mm made me need 2 brand spanking new tyres at £80 a shot so make sure you get big enough spacers first!

Its ok when its sat still but going over bumps the wheels catch like a bitch

mine didt fit well either, using et49 tigra wheels, had to set the springs to maxium hieght so that the coil won't touch the tyre, but going to get some 195/45 tyres some (185/55 currant) how they arent any worst!

i got mine from one in sheffield mate
was going to get the ones from wakey but are lass bet me to it and put them on hers

mine do it dam and im on the exact same as you.

i used 5mm spacers
