GF just bought me this DVD player for my bday, from that website

Just opened it up and its got a european plug on it, but the cord is part of the player so cant swap it for an english one. Will it work ok, the right region ETC? Also can I just chop the plug off and put the wires into an english plug?

PS...yes you can chop it making the warranty void...or just buy a multiplug or a converter:
