Im just off to bed to get some kip before getting up early doors for our near 500 mile round trip to Gillingham. First game of the season, looks like its gonna be hot, few beers, hopefully 3 points and start as we mean to go on!!!

Home game tonight. Beat Rotherham 3-0. Easy win really, didnt play as good as we could have done but 3-0 will do me fine. Cracking goal from GTF an all, look out for it on SKY Thats 2 in 2 for him now
Also good to see Beckett get a goal on his home debut

Danny - When you went to Gillingham how did Duncan Jupp and Mark Bentley play? (if they did play for the Gills?)
Our ex players, very loyal to the Southend cause of back 2 back promotions but unfortunatley left to get guaranteed 1st team football!
