I'm quite impressed with my camera, i didnt realise it was good enough to pick out detail like that

but like i say, i can never manage a decent shot out of macro mode

does it have auto focus etc?

If you just generally snapping with out a stand use "Countinus focus" this grabs the shape it thinks you trying to focus on and will track in on your LCD
the "Still focus" should only be used with a stand

its got auto focus, but i dont think it has 2 settings, i've not found 2 anyway...
