basically my sony ipod link up is a bit tempremental, some times it works, some times it doesn't and says all sorts of weird shoot. any one else experinced this or know how to fix it?

ive found it a pain in the ass to get the ipod wired up to my Kenwood. It'll play only through the front speakers and not through the 6''x'9''s or sub. nightmare.

Try updating the Ipods software with the latest update from apple.com. This worked on my alpine ipod link.
