Last time you won the World Cup you's went on a 15 game winless streak, I predict Donadoni will be out of a job after the defeat to Scotland

This time round in the WC qualifiers we lost 2-0 and a draw. We never get off to a good start, there's 8 games left

Luigi... wrt to my comment, Totti's attitude is typical fo Italians throughout history... not just footballers either!

Also, wrt to the french newspaper comment... whilst the italians did win the wc it was only via the lotteyr of penalties so their claim to being true champions is not an unfair one... end of the day that night it was 1 all and italy won via loteries... 2 mths lkater france beath italy 3-1... i dont agree with the healdien but i see where they are coming from!!

well yes, there's the view of they beat the world champions who they lost the final too...quite convincingly aswell. fair headline...possibly

Then there's my (and im sure many other italian views) that France beat italy in a euro qualifier at home. with italy only fielding 7 of those who started the final and a new manager, and france fielding 9 with same world cup finalist manager. The game was not a big one technically, but for the fans its a massive game.

Lets not worry too much about that though

Zizou do you think its a bit sad naming yourself after a footballer that shamed himself in the world cup finals Germany 2006
