on a budget , anyone know anything that you can do to a corsa 1.5 td engine that will release a little extra power? mate of mine has one and was just wondering.

You can turn the boost up. Theres a guide on MigWeb for doing the 1.7 I'm sure it will be the same.

Fuel and boost up, cone filter directly to turbo, decat. Intercooler can do without it but better if you have one Then nos is the way hehe. You should see 90 - 98 bhp if I am correct.

The corsa B 1.7 doesnt have a turbo, so how can the boost be turned up on that? Unless you mean the corsa C 1.7 CDTI, but surely that will be a vastly different engine.

The 1.7 in general. It's essentially the same as a 1.5.
I didn't mention Corsa.

But isuzu made 1.7 TD which is practically the same. Swap manifolds and turbo and you have a 1.7TD.

you'd have a 1.7TD if you had the block and head not just by chaning the turbo and manifold

You do something with Polo's to tune the engine up Errr, that ups the boost. Then you hit something with a hamer to up the fueling.
I think the thing to do is to get the tutorial up from Mig and do what it says on there
