i am unsure as to whether or not i should tcut my car.
it had a good wash yesterday and it is pretty overcast today so i thought i would take advantage and give it a quick clay thingy/polish etc. but dont know whether to tcut it.
is tcut used a bit like polish is? all over the car and then buffed off?
and should i -
clay > tcut > polish
clay > polish
clay > tcut
tcut > polish
not bother with tcut at all and just clay it and polish it
how should i do it?
(sorry for my stupidity )
thanks Marc

i'd recommend doing small areas at a time with t-cut maybe a wing then a door, but not going over the whole car like you would with polish,
also after cutting a car I always put polish on top

ah right thanks
yes i would only do small areas, sorry it was a bit unclear. i meant in the end is it used all over the car, like doing each panel.
wasnt meant to sound like apply it all over then buff it off

you dont need to use tcut unless the paint is oxidised or something, to get impurities out of paint a clay bar will be fine.
None will remove swirls, you will need to machin epolish for that

Giving my car a good scrub up tonight as I'm babysitting for mummykins,
Prob just wash, clay bar then polish, and back to black as paint is starting to feel rough again!

you dont actually have to polish the car every time you clean it, you can just wash then wax. it comes out just as good
