i have a liile bit of rust around my rear wiper where the circle part attaches to the car! its only faint, looks as if i could rub out easy, how can i remove it without respraying!

only way is to sand it back to bare non pitted steel, what colour is your car?

How can WD40 work? is it only a water dispersant.

You have to do like Adam says, sand the rust back to flat metal, then prime and paint it.

Star silver isn't too bad, should take around a day to complete it with letting the coats dry in between.

Silver is one of the worst colours to colour match.

wd40 works for almost anything mate, maybe it wont work on rust though! like i say its only faint, iv heard that tcut will get it out!

do you actually know what rust is? lmao.

oxidation of the METAL. ie. t-cut (a car polish/abrasive cutting ageant) won't do anything... apart from rub it back.

plus, unless you take it back to the metal, use some rust treatment, prime and paint it, it'll just come back.

Stop being an idiot. The only way to get rid of rust is it grind it, fill it and paint it.
