erm, tried whacking my car through an emissions test today....failed miserably
any ideas why?
the hc's were way up!....1500 at one point :S
i have no air leaks...no holes in my exhaust....my lambda is switching fine, and my coolant temp sensors workin fine.....

oh i hava a mantzel too, the map sensors connceted straight to the manifold....the fuel reg's also connected straight to the manifold...

all i done was fill my car with optimax and put it through mot, god knows how mine passed mot,

yep......unburnt fuel ...but as i said, the lambdas switching fine and the cts is working spot on ........
and the fuel regs all working....
have no missfire..+ plugs n leads/colipack are all fine...
injectors are ok too

im soo confused

have you checked the emmissions with a wideband lambda? to see if its running rich.

nope...i pluggd my scanner in and it showed the lambda switching......
