What engines are in them both? There's a few different ones available for each of those models.

sri= 2.0 16v ecotec engine
old cav= 2.0i 8v OHC engine

So the SRi is a C20XE, 156 bhp.

Old one would have been 8v 115 bhp I think?

Ahh yeah, could be that also.

I know of a guy has a redtop in his Cav SRi though as standard, there are a few about.

Sarah - is the spark plug cover on the new one L shaped or straight?

u sure thats right? redtop pushes out 150bhp so how can a non redtop push out 156!!???
