There will be some minor delays as the CS connection switches over to the new 10 gigabit uplink.

won't be dedicated I would of thought, more like thats the uplink/carrier's pipe into that part of the datacentre.

looking at the people that host the servers, got lots of nice peering agreements .

they have their own server and host it in colo space. Try something like www.fasthosts.co.uk
