Ronaldinho for the second year running.

Lionel Messi took ASPIRE Young FIFPro Player Player's Award and Samuel Eto'o was handed the FIFPro Merit Award for his contribution to the sport.

The team of the year was...

taly's World Cup winning squad dominated the FIFPro Team of the 2005-06 season with four players making the side.

Gianluigi Buffon, Fabio Cannavaro, Gianluca Zambrotta, Andrea Pirlo, Zinedine Zidane, Thierry Henry, Lilian Thuram, John Terry, Ronaldinho, Eto'o and Kaka.

Dont know why Zidane is in the team. Agree with most of the others, but majority of those italians only got in due to winning the WC not their form throughout the season.

The fcuking goofy prick isn't even that good, if I had to have either Rooney or that goofy twat I would have Rooney all day long, Rooney can do everything, all Ronaldinho has is his fancy tricks, whoopy fcuking do.

Don't rate him at all. He is good, but just not that good. Gerrard is a better midfielder IMO.

I would say that Cristano Ronaldo is a better ball player than Ronaldinho.
