My room is tiny its like 3x3 metres or something daft... after a bed and a table with my comp on etc my room is just about full!
Anyway i need ways to make it feel bigger, ideas so far:
My mum is talking about some daft paint which makes rooms appear bigger light space or something its called
Instead of having a stand with things on im gona try and put cupboards, shelves on the walls, obviosuly trying to keep them to a bloody minimum
Also instead of my huge tower speakers i have, i'm going to get some wall speakers.
Will also trying and make my computer as compact as possible...
any otehr ideas? thx

a big mirror will make a room look alot bigger.
Also arranging furniture so when you walk into the room your not walking straight into a piece of furniture works aswell.

a big mirror will reflect the whole room though so gives the impression its twice as large. Restaurants and bars use huge mirrors for the same reason.

3m x 3m isnt too bad, our study is 8ft x 9ft
I would go for single or three quarter sized bed, smaller furniture (for example, where you can, buy the shelves that are half the width than normal shelves but obviously if u need it for a stereo then buy the big ones)
As cosmo has said, arranging your furniture in the best way you can, have a play with it and see what way looks biggest
light paint, white or a light cream, if your not keen on a big assed mirrors then get a long thinner one that would run horizontal along one wall
lighter carpet would help as well
ummm, uplighters are good at making ceilings appear higher as well

Mark, my room is only 3x3
Light colours, lots of light, a mirror, not much furniture, no clutter.

my bed can only go in 1 position... anyother way and nothing else would fit right, because of how the room is... so just down grade everything... fukin h8 it

I've got a tiny room too Colin says he's seen bigger broom cupboards
A standard single bed fits exactly along the width of it. I have a single wardrobe, narrow chest of drawers and an open shoe rack that fits in the recess. A dressing table sqeezed in next to the bed, thats it I hate it

My room back at home consists of pale blue walls, 3 door wardrobe with draws, desk with laptop and printer and a single bed. On the wardrobe is DVD/Video in one and a small TV.
I was there the other night thinking how cool it is and wish my flat was the same It's nice to stay there when i'm bored
