okay got my new sub today. huge arse thing. very impressive, but slightly over-powering bass! so i set to configuring my digital amp up to get the best sound outta the sub. spent about half hour on it, got it sounding real nice as the 'drop' was coming in the track i was playing i turned it up a bit and waited for the bass to kick in...
it never did. annoyed, i jumped out the car to check all the settings and connections, everything was fine!? i took the sub into my home hifi to try it but it works okay. so i tried the car again, includin my old sub, but nothing. however, looking through the amp i went to display settings, and noticed the 'show ampage' now just looks like "---" rather than a number. so i guess there is no ampage running though it? is there a quick fix to this as i have a long journey tomorrow and want it running!

check back through all the connections, is there still sound coming out the sub but just no bass? take the sub out and take a positive and negative wire to it on a little 9v battery to see if it judders. that usually shows a blown sub if nothing happens or it goes distorted
