Has anyone swapped 2.0 ate brakes to V6 and noticed any MAJOR difference in braking performance?

My car has V6 brakes. Compared to standard, they feel spongey. Theres no doubt about that.
But, once you hit the bite point which is well above the spongey bottom they do stop you very quick.
IMO, go for the V6 ones with braided hoses (I haven't fitted these yet), they stop you and look mint.
