£400 odd quid a month over 5 years, not sure about intrest rate, Rach spoke to him about that on the phone.

400 x 60months = £24000 I hope thats with you keeping the GSi, if not your paying nearly 30k.

No you idiot

They GIVE Rachel £8000 like a private sale. Take the GSi totally out of the equation if we do it that way, it would be sold gone.

18k on finance, I know the APR is higher than just getting a loan, but what your forgetting is that we will have to take out their finance to buy the car IF we sold the GSi to them, thats part of the deal, thats where they will make their money.

See now? Thats the predicment, we take the hassle of selling the GSi away but then have to in the long run pay more for the VXR and get less for the GSi.

Sport mode means 100% throttle at 40% pedal.
Also stiffens the suspension.

Doesn't actually go any quicker.

Buy it, it'll turd on the GSi, it'll drink more, but the much better drive more than makes up for it.

Those front wheels (19"s) are a bitch to clean when covered in brake dust though. Or am i just being lazy with only hot water n a sponge

What? That doesnt make sense Daimo? 100% throttle at 40% pedal? So it will go as fast at half throttle as it will at 100%? WTF?

It isn't that much faster than the GSi, Rachel had a race with one at Santa Pod, although she was beaten it wasn't but a massive margin.

It means you only need to put the throttle pedal 40% down to get 100% open throttle at the engine.

Basically, means your at full throttle sooner.

Standard VXR does 1/4 in about 14.6. But is 80+mph where it pulls into its own.

Up to 70-80mph, i've said it before, it doesn't impress me that much. But thats 240bhp and 19" wheels and FWD for you.

I still think you could save yourself alot of money selling private & as ian says get a better finance deal!!

How hard can it be to sell a immaculate GSi for private book price, get a loan/0% cards & save yourself thousands!?!?

Im getting more money concious now in my old age, if you'd posted a few years ago id have said buy it quick, without a second thought.............before someone else does!!! but I really dont think your getting the best deal you could if you hung about & done things differently, there going to make a few grand on the GSi & an absolute killing on the VXR + finance.

If you's are loaded though then why not you work for nice things at the end of the day, although you mention not wanting to get a house just yet but should that change in the next 5yrs then your still paying a hell of alot of money towards a car.....probably once accumulated (Finance, high ins, repairs, lots of petrol, tyres for 19's arn't cheap etc etc) enough to pay a massive chunk of a mortgage.....sup to you man
