As above really,its been in 3 days and already full!!!

Holds about 1lt worth.

Is this usual,and can you cause this by overfilling??

mine does this to but it aint oil its like oily smelling water,i think its condensation.though mine takes well over two weeks to fill

im sure i read somewhere that if you overfill the sump then it can run into the catch tank as it runs off the breather on the rocker.To be honest i think it was a bit too watery to be oil itself but really wanted to double check on here as to a cause and if it was normal.Cheers mate.

Anyone else got a view??

you sure you have the catch tank attached to the breather & not the return feed??

I have the smaller of the two hoses connected to the catch tank.Is that right?15mm id pipe?

yes

only reason tho as mentioned it will do this is from being overfilled OR the return hose is blocked up with crap...

mine does the same as this too. does any 1 elses spray oily mist owt every where when booting it. mine stinks aswell and gives the driver a bad head

oil level is easy to check, just make sure its between half and full, any more, drain some out...

as for the return hose, just replace it, shouldnt cost too much for a replacement hose, plus given the age of the existing one would be a sound investment imo

Oil was between half and full when cold and the pipe is a new one mate.I think ill just fuck the tank off and run it back into the air inlet.Cheers for the help mate.
