Ive got a mate who has an audi s3(i know its not a corsa!!) and says he wants to get rid of the lag on the turbo.Anyone have any suggestions on how he could do this?

The only way he's going to get rid of the lag is either with Anti Lag (dont ask me to explain - its done using magic) or drive it properly and there won't be any lag

You don't use anti-lag on road cars really though. No way of getting rid of the lag without convering to a super charger. Perhaps he could convert to twin turbo to make the lag less apparent. Really lag is a charecteristin of having a turbo on your engine. Though more advanced turbos are available to help combat lag, it's still noticable.

1.8t are almost lagless anyway ???

he needs to drive an uno turbo to find out what real lag is

He'd be better off fitting one of those electronic superchargers too imo

I think what this person is feeling is the bloody computer on this car having a little think before launching off at crazy speeds... Not sure, but that's what I feel when I have driven the A4 1.8t...
