Currently de-fraging the PC, trouble is, it's took 3/4 hour to go on 1%
Then it goes back to 0%, then 1%, 2% then 0% etc etc.
Whats up with it?

its cos your using it
restart it in safemode and do it then, and just leave it

DONT USE WINDOWS DEFRAG, its a pile of shit,
download a nice bit of software called Diskeeper

yup, like said, just leave it and it'll sort itself out
But personally i would get perfect disk (a bit better as it offers bootup defrag of page files etc), or diskeeper - both good defrag programs compared to the windows crap heap defrag

The longest ive ever had to defrag was 20 mins with disk keeper, it has so many little features you can make your hard drive really really tidy

I defrag PC's at work alot and can take anything from 20mins to 3 hrs depending on what one...And that is using the windows based tool.

We left it over night and it was still doing the same as mentioned above
dont think it got past 3%
