ok i really need windows to work now its taking the piss i can open them at all
i had after market ones but have full set from a gsi
is this an expensive job for an auto place to do
when its dark i cant see to back out my drive and also for any other reason and its beyond a joke now was meant to have someone fitting them but...well u know doesnt all ways turn out to plan
i know prices will vary etc but i dont know how big job it is etc
any help advice whats best to do would be great as its just stupid not having working windows

if the loom works as plug and play with the loom in ur pillar then its an incredibly easy swap.. im not sure but have read on here something about if u have maybe 20 odd pins in ur pillar plug (as opposed to say ten) ur car is ready for them to be plug and play
any competent diyer could swap the regs/looms and switchs in ur doors.

well it got started on one side it got cut and soldered or something as i never had them as standard as were just aftermarket ones
im really stuck without working ones but just payed for my engine sorting etc and if its stupid money i am going to have to get normal winder windows sorted or something

You got the Sport Looms? Yes?
Brown Wire: Earth (Obviously earth it)
Red Wire: +12v I wired mine up to the battery (30A Fuse)
Black Wire: Ignition Live - I wired mine to the tab lighter (10A Fuse)
Red/Blue Wire: Join to Red/Blue wire on the other door loom
Green/Grey Wire: Join to Green/Grey wire on the other door loom.

but chap that started them had to cut that black bit that goes into door off and solder a new one on so one side should be plug directly in now.... but i have no clue on other side

Fucking hell... Sounds a bit ghetto.
Try and get some unmolested Sport Looms and plug them in. Then bang in a electric motor and test.

omg more looms to get
it looked very neat and central locking etc still works so he did it right he just seems to be right busy to reply and stuff so i really have to get it sorted cos when its dark i just cant bloody see with these tints yes eventually will be lightened but not for few months so i reeeeeeeally need some
